Bioverse Lab Products is an ISO certified autoclave manufacturer in Delhi, producing vertical, horizontal, portable and table top autoclaves along with ethylene oxide and dry heat sterilizers. Our chamber range runs from 20 litres to 1260 litres in SS-304. We manufacture in our own production facilities rather than importing and rebranding, and we have been building laboratory equipment for more than 25 years.

A manufacturer, not a trading company
A large share of autoclaves sold in Delhi come through importers and traders. The distinction matters because a pressure vessel is not a commodity purchase. Chamber welding quality, material grade and control specification vary considerably between suppliers, and none of that is visible in a product photograph.

Choosing between vertical and horizontal
This is the decision most buyers spend the longest on, and it usually comes down to floor space and load handling rather than preference.

Vertical autoclaves suit laboratories with limited floor space that are sterilizing media, glassware, discard bags and smaller instrument sets. Our vertical range covers the LEW-101 series, available in Single Lever Lock, DX, ECO and Wingnut variants in both semi automatic and fully automatic versions, and the LEW-102 vertical high pressure steam sterilizer.
Horizontal autoclaves suit higher daily volumes and bulkier loads, where lifting baskets out of a top opening becomes an ergonomic problem. Our horizontal range covers the LEW-107 cylindrical and LEW-108 rectangular steam sterilizers, each available semi automatic and fully automatic.
A practical note: size for the volume you expect in a few years, not the volume you have today. Outgrowing a chamber is a more expensive mistake than buying slightly larger at the outset.
Semi automatic or fully automatic
Semi automatic units require the operator to manage cycle stages including steam release and timing. They suit teaching laboratories and settings where an experienced operator is always present.
Fully automatic units run a preset program with automatic control of pressure, temperature and cut off, which removes operator variability and produces more consistent cycles.
Where sterilization results have to be documented and defended, fully automatic is generally the better specification. Consistency you can evidence is worth more than the price difference.

Understanding autoclave cycles
Steam sterilization works by holding saturated steam under pressure at a defined temperature for a defined time. The two standard cycles used across laboratories and hospitals are:
- 121 degrees Celsius at approximately 15 psi for 15 to 20 minutes, the general purpose cycle for media, glassware and liquids
- 134 degrees Celsius at approximately 30 psi for 3 to 4 minutes, a faster cycle commonly used for wrapped instruments
The correct cycle depends on load type, packaging and density. A tightly packed load takes longer for steam to penetrate than the same mass loosely arranged, which is why load configuration matters as much as the program setting.
